Create Keyboard Shortcuts

Not all commands have keyboard shortcuts.

To create a missing keyboard shortcut for a command on the Mac, select the  > System Preferences... in the menu bar to display the System Preferences. Click on the Keyboard icon, and select the Shortcuts tab.

Select the App Shortcuts in the left list, and click the Plus button under the right list.

In the Application: drop-down list, scroll to the bottom and select Other... at the very bottom. In the list of Applications, select Snagit 2022.app (or your application), and click the Add button.
Enter Justify (for example), then enter ⌘J as your Keyboard Shortcut.

Your new keyboard shortcut will appear in the Menu > Align menu.

Other keyboard shortcuts may be created in similar fashion.

These directions were believed to be correct at the time of their creation. Of course, they may change depending on the version of the tool and Mac OS.

When creating shortcuts, be careful not to create one that already exists, as it will probably confuse either the tool or the Mac - perhaps both.
